‘Rang Biranga Anaar’ (Starring Badrul Islam, who was last seen in Dangal) is produced by Aditya Bharadwaj (Y-Star Cine & Television Pvt Ltd) and is now headed to the Nelson Mandela Children Film Festival for its special screening (9th – 17th June 2018). The short film shall compete with entries coming from South Africa, China, Mongolia, USA, Canada, France & Asia.
The creative director of Y-Star CTPL, Archana Kelkar Deshmukh will be presenting the short film in South Africa, amidst all of the other entries and on behalf of the production house. The short film has been selected for the festival and shall be one of the entries that’ll represent India.
‘Rang Biranga Anaar’ is an emotional drama that talks about the struggle of a family in a financial mess. A six-year-old boy who lost his father and still is hopeful that in spite of difficult situation his mother and uncle will struggle hard to make ends meet. The child still believes that he will be able to celebrate Diwali. The short movie depicts the journey of the young child who sets out to find happiness in the sour situation.
The producer of the short, Aditya Bharadwaj is very happy and keen about the representation and at the same time is looking forward to take the movie to multiple short movie festivals while the main focus remains at earning the National Award this year.
