Zee Talkies presents Ashok Saraf Film festival

Zee Talkies, the only Marathi movie channel will showcase Ashok Saraf film festivals from 11th September to 17th September. Ashok Saraf is an extremely popular Marathi film star who has also done some remarkable work in Hindi television and films. Known for his versatile acting skills, he has done some extraordinary performances as an actor in his career span of more than 35 years.

The entire week will be the treat for Ashok Saraf’s fans with the combination of his old and latest super hit, popular films.

The festival will start with the film SAKHI starring Ashok Saraf, Sonali Kulkarni and Subodh Bhave. The film is directed by Sanjay Surkar & will be premiered on Zee Talkies on Sunday, 11th September.

The movie will be followed by EK DAAV DHOBIPACHHAD on Monday, 12th September in “Malamaal Monday”. It’s a story of Dada Dandge, a don who tries to transform his life when his past love hits him once again. Along with Ashok Saraf, various famous faces from Marathi industry like Prasad Oak, Mukta Barve, Sanjay Mone, Pushkar Shrotri etc are starring in this film. The film is directed by credible director Satish Rajwade.

On Tuesday, 13th September, Ashok Saraf’s one of the most popular film ASHI HI BANVABANVI will be showcased. Ashi hi Banvabanvi is an extremely popular and one of the most admired comedy film in the history of Marathi Cinema. The film is a cult film which has got its own following, is very popular film on television.

SAADE MAADE TEEN, a lighthearted comedy film starring Ashok Saraf, Makrand Anaspure and Bharat Jadhav will be viewed on Wednesday, 14th September. This film is a story of three brothers and how their life changes when one of them falls in love with a girl. This adorable film is directed by director duo Ankush Chaudhary – Sachit Patil.

Two popular films MAAL MASALA and SHUBHMANGAL SAVDHAN will be shown respectively on 15th & 16th September. And finally, the fest will be concluded on 17th September with the film NISHANI DAAVA ANGATHA. This is a film which portrays the picture of how educational institutes in village runs. Viewers will get to watch this sarcastic comedy in “Superstaar Shanivaar” on Saturday, 17th September.
