Sri Lankan singing sensation Yohani is all ready to make waves in Gurgaon as she lands in the capital ahead of her much-awaited concert
The wait is over and she is finally here!!! Having won hearts all the way from Sri Lanka to India, Yohani Diloka De Silva, the singing sensation has finally landed in India’s capital city. Looking chic as ever in her casual airport look, Yohani was spotted in New Delhi today alongside her nine-member band who are all set to enthrall the audience in a live performance at Studio XO Bar Gurugram.
ZEE Live under its latest sub-IP Supermoon #NowTrending brings Yohani to India. The songwriter, rapper, music producer, YouTuber, and businesswoman, who has been making all the right noises for her hit song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ will be performing at Studio XO, Gurugram on September 30, 9 PM onwards. The excitement doesn’t just end here as the singing sensation will head to Hyderabad for another electrifying concert at Heart Cup Coffee, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
Yohani started her music career as a YouTuber. She soon gained recognition for her rap cover of ‘Deviyange Bare’ and released many covers of her singing and rapping which have earned her the title “Rap Princess” of Sri Lanka. She rose to prominence and gained global recognition for her cover of “Manike Mage Hithe“.
Yohani got signed by Red Bull Records for a single, and her debut single ‘Aaye’ premiered in August 2020. An unexpected twist for her fan base, Aaye dove deep into her personal journey; her experience in the industry and the public eye. The latter part of 2020 saw Yohani reviving the nation with her stunning singles. The second such being Sitha Dawuna a collaboration with Chamath Sangeeth in September 2020. The third being a song that reverberated a wave of emotion through the citizens who endured a 30-year war on the island, especially those connected to the military personnel that fought in the front lines.
