Victorinox Swiss Army launches new ‘Night Vision’ watch in India

Victorinox with the launch of the new ‘Night Vision Experience’, celebrated another milestone in the history of 127 year old Swiss excellence. The evening unfolded with Indian Boxing Champion Vijendar Singh unveiling the new Night Vision range experience at the Four Seasons, Mumbai over cocktails and dinner.

The event also saw bollywood star Pooja Bedi celebrating the launch. Over 100 guests along with Daniela Leone (Int’l Marketing Director), Anish Goel- MD Victorinox India and Debraj Sengupta-Country Head Victorinox-Time Pieces Victorinox attended the gala event which showcased this latest range.

The event kick started with a grand performance by Illuminati, India’s Premier UV Light Troupe, which shot to fame through its performances in India’s Got Talent and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. The launch of this ambitious traveling series of ‘Night Vision Experience’ exhibition also drew attention to the announcement of the new nightvision.victorinox.com website, which officially goes live on October 9th. This interactive website allows users to explore and test the Night Vision’s innovative features, read testimonials, and compete for watches and a trip to Switzerland.

Anish Goel – MD Victorinox India, commented on the launch, “Victorinox has always created products with award winning functionality and the Night Vision is yet another such creation. We are happy Vijendra Singh could make it to unveil this iconic product. He has always used and loved Victorinox products. He has been a strong brand friend and shall continue to be one.”

Vijender Singh stated when asked about the launch, “Victorinox has always been one of my favorite brands in watches. Their collection caters to the needs of sportspersons and athletes with a splash of stylish and fashionable to them.  I am glad to be part of this launch today and I am really excited about the new range.”

Night Vision Experience, a perennial bestseller since its original launch in 2003, has now undergone its most significant design upgrade to date.  The new edition builds upon the watch’s exclusive multifunctional features–the integration of low consumption LED light modules for push-button activated dial illumination, pilot light, flash light and strobe functions. The major difference, however, is the new, seductively streamlined appearance. With its round, wide-open dial, contrasting finishes and narrower bezel, it exemplifies classic Swiss watch design codes. The advanced lighting features are seamlessly incorporated into an extension of the case, or in the metal versions, into one of the central links of the bracelet. The result is an increased dynamism and a purer aesthetic balance.
