India’s first live animation film TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO have created much hype for animation work and something different content. But very sadly it disappoints our expectations. It was told that this film will not only entertain kids but also elders. Actually TKS is literally for young kids who may enjoy.

Aditya (Ajay Devgn) is superstar of Hindi cinema. His wife Priya (Kajol) believes in Vastushashtra. His kids Kabeer (Amey Pandya) and Raima (Chinky Jaiswal) are crazy about Devtoons characters of a cartoon channel. Because of busy shoot schedule Aditya gets late for Kabeer’s sports day and he loses the race. When Aditya comes to home Kabeers angrily tells that he is not actualy hero because his stunts are done by duplicates. This makes him to think how to prove himself a real hero.

On other side there is Toonpur where people are in two groups, the good one are Devtoons and the bad are Toonasur. Bolly in Devtoons is crazy fan of Aditya and believes him as superhero. He gives idea to kidnap Aditya who will then save Devtoons from Toonasurs. So Aditya is kidnaped. Devtoons request him to fight against Toonasurs. Aditya also thinks this is right opportunity to prove himself as real hero and…

Ajay Devgn is good. Kajol has just supported. Kids are okay. Cartton characters are funny. Animation work ofcourse superb. Last climax sequence where Ajay has to enter the games to save wife, son and daughter, will entertain gamoholic kids.

Keerit Khurana’s direction is okay. Actually overall TKS is only for kids below 10 or 12 years. As claimed film is for kids and elders it disappoints.
