After a series of nation -wide auditions and several vote outs, a group of 30 youngsters – Suresh and Vernon Group from Vasai, near Mumbai stole the country’s heart and was crowned the winner of INDIA’S GOT TALENT 3 on COLORS! Their moves not only burnt the dance floor with every performance but also had the judges – Dharamji, Sonali, Kirron Kher and guest Shahrukh Khan grooved to their beats! Shahrukh Khan’s presence along with unique performances by popular television celebrities added the glamour and glitz to the Grand finale of India’s premier talent show – INDIA’S GOT TALENT 3. The adorable young duo – Bad Salsa group from Kolkata was declared the first runners up while the new age singers Madhavas from Mumbai were the second runners up.
Winners Suresh and Vernon Group from Vasai who choreographed their win to perfection, manage a group of 30 young boys aged between 13 – 24 yrs. The duo who started their fictitious academy a year back have played an integral role in identifying and grooming youngsters from small towns of India to showcase their talent to the entire nation. The group specialise in dance forms like Hip Hop & B-Boeing besides other forms.
Talking about their win, Suresh and Vernon Group said, “This has been a wonderful journey for us through INDIA’S GOT TALENT 3. The hard work and dedication put in by each of our team member has earned us the coveted title. Our win here will help our group members in their careers for the future. As for both of us we want to cement our place as one of the best choreographing duo in Bollywood.”
Talking about being a part of the show, Shahrukh Khan said, “INDIA’S GOT TALENT is a one of its kind platform that has done a phenomenal job of finding unique and interesting talent from various parts of India. In my eyes, each one of these performers is a winner in his or her own right because of the art that they practice. However, I do congratulate Suresh and Vernon Group on winning the top honors on the show today. I wish all the teams a lot of luck and loads of good wishes for the future.”
The King Khan of Bollywood who joined the jury in announcing the winners was at his best and shared some interesting anecdotes on the jury. While he quoted Dharamji as his Superhero, he fondly remembered Sonali Bendre as the young actress who made her debut with him. Interestingly, Kirron Kher was the one who suggested the title of SRK’s blockbuster ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. While SRK mingled with the jury, he did his best to motivate the finalists as well. From learning various moves to singing, his camaraderie was infectious and kept the audiences entertained as well.
As the winners danced their way to success, the other contestants too joined the group in the celebrations making it the perfect evening of great talent on the third season of INDIA’S GOT TALENT.
