Web series SURANGA on its way with Isha Koppikar, Freddy Daruwala,Rakesh Bedi, Sanjeev Tyagi, Sachin Verma, Piyush Ranade, Rahul Jaitley and many more. Closed sources says that a new web series is all set to release in ULLU 2.0 which is loosely based on the actual bank heist happened in Gohana in Sonipat District.
This series is said to be very expensive and the producers are making all effort to make it look real. The estimated cost is said to be close to 8-10 crores. The locations are primarily in Rohtak city of Haryana.
The series is co -produced by Kaushik Izardar who was a part of broadcasting channels Zee TV and Viacom18 and a producer of web series “Game of the sexes”. His partner Bharat Nautiyal also making his debut as a Co-producer under SARRVA Productions banner.
The makers have tied up renowned production house Shashi Sumeet productions as a Co-producer with them. Sumeet Mittal and Jitendra Singla are the partners. Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal is an Indian writer, director, producer and entrepreneur working in the Indian Television and Film Industry. The series is directed by BM Giriraj and DoP is Krishna Kumar who has been a veteran and completed his 100 film in Kannada.
There is an ensemble cast of more than 25 artists in the series. The series is said to be the comeback of Isha. She has has appeared in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi films. Rakesh Bedi’s performance is beyond excellence and Freddy is portraying a tough Haryanvi inspector role. He has done film like Holiday, Commando 2, Force 2, Race 3, Umeed and has also done films in Gujarati as well as Telugu. He last appeared in ZEE5‘s action crime thriller series Poison in 2019 that starred Arbaaz Khan and Riya Sen He has been signed to play a lead in The Incomplete Man.
In an recent interview Mr Vibhu Agarwal, Owner of Ullu Digital Media quoted :- Will spend up to Rs 10 crore per show to change Ullu’s ‘edgy’ image.
