The music of YEH JO MOHABBAT HAI continues the legacy of Shakti Samanta’s banner Aradhana Films which brought a bevy of iconic films with evergreen music like Amar Prem, Anurag, Howrah Bridge, China Town, Aradhana, Kati Patang, Kashmir Ki Kali, Evening in Paris, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat. YJMH also marks the introduction of his grandson Aditya Samanta who makes his bollywood debut along with Nazia Hussain (grand niece of the late Nargis Dutt and niece to Sanjay Dutt).
The evening was buzzing with energy at the music launch of YEH JO MOHABBAT HAI. Present were producer, Ashim Samanta along with son Aditya Samanta, Nazia Hussain (Sanjay Dutt’s niece), Moushumi Chatterjee, Mohnish Behl, Rati Agnihotri and Farida Jalal. The lead pair of the film performed on ‘Pyaar karna na tha’ after which Anu Malik shared the stage with daughter Anmol Malik for the first time where the duo performed on a track from the movie which is the ‘Big Fat Indian Wedding’. Neeraj Shridhar also performed at the event.

Ashim is all praises for Nazia, he even mentioned on the podium, “Nazia is exactly what we wanted. I auditioned so many girls. I wanted somebody young and innocent. Someone who depicted a mix of tradition and modernity. Nazia fit the bill perfectly.”
The entire cast was all praise about the chemistry Aditya and Nazia share. The film is scheduled to release on 3rd August 2012.
