It is quite a myth in the industry that two actors from the same field can never be friends. Well certainly that’s not true for television handsome hunk Salil Ankola and the comedy king Rajpal Yadav. Yes! Not many are aware that these two much talented personalities are thick friends and have been close supportive in each other’s life.
A source close to both the actors informs, that Salil and Rajpal’s friendship go a long way back. Ever since they started sharing the same building, they have created a strong bond and always been present at each other’s important occasions. Now that Rajpal Yadav’s upcoming film Judwaa 2 is up for release, the humble Salil and his wife Riya have arranged a special puja for thier dear friend Rajpal Yadav’s films success. The festival season is going around and Salil’s wife Riya is known to be a devotee of Lord Durga, so it was her idea to keep an Aarti specially for Rajpal where both the families will come together and seek blessing from the divine Goddesses.
Talking about the thoughtful wish for his dear friend, the sweet couple Salil & Riya said, “Rajpal and his family are very close to us, we have been celebrating all the major festivals together. We all are super excited for Judwaa too as he will be seen playing the iconic role of Nandu which was earlier played by Shakti Kapoor in older version. Rajpal is such a talented actor and it’s a delight to watch him on screen. We wish him and entire Judwaa team best of luck and hope it becomes a hit at the box-office.”
Adding to it Rajpal Yadav says, “I am humbled with Salil- Riya’s gesture. They are more like an extended family to me and I am happy to be around such a wonderful people who have been a great support”.
Well certainly it’s said true friends are those who go that extra mile to be there for you. Cheers to such amazing friendship!
