Young and stylish producer Baburao Bhor hails from a farmer’s family of Rajgurunagar near Pune. Earlier he was associate producer of JEEV GUNTALA and NAV SAVA NAVCHI VEL. He was also executive producer for PAARAD and SAMUDRA. Talking to GLAMGOLD he said, “Firstly I wanted to know what is film making. So I associated with films as associate and executive producer. I also worked as event organizer. Now PIPANEE is my independent debut venture as producer.”

Baburao says, “It is not a serious film. It touches the serious issue of farmer’s problems and we have shown the solutions also. The aid given by government does not reach to needy farmer. What our government can do is also shown. Secondly not only suicides but there are other problems also a farmer is facing.”

PIPANEE marks debut of German actress Crystin Pacekar who plays pivotal role in the film. Talking about the story Mr. Bhor says, “A foreigner director lady who works in Hollywood comes to India to make a film on farmer’s problems. With the help of Popat Rao (played by Makarand Anaspure) she completes the film. She gets applauds and awards for the film but the condition of village does not change. This is the reality.”

The music is given by Chaitanya Adkar. The album has four tracks in which there is one English song rendered by a Canadian singer. It is happening for the first time in Marathi film industry to have one full song in English. PIPANEE is slated to release on 12th October, 2012.
