With the many upcoming reality shows, the extreme talents in India have come to notice to the world. Amongst them is a find of the reality shows like singer and music composer Nakash Aziz who had tried his luck in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Indian Idol and has become a much recognized person in the film fraternity for his compositions.
Like all new talents today, he too wanted to get into the film industry, and chose to do so through the currently popular reality television. He tried his luck in both Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Indian Idol. In Indian Idol, although he reached the top 28, he was unfortunately not included in the top 10. Though he lost out and could not make a mark as a singer, he made a lot of like minded friends, and one of those friends turned out to be Sargam, with whom he joined hands to become a composer duo – Nakash Sargam. Nakash recently sang the famous song ‘Pungi’ for ‘Agent Vinod’ composed by Pritam.
As for Nakash and Sargam, the music directors, have composed a lot of music for private albums and for upcoming Indian Idol singers and have also currently teamed up with ‘Bhootnath’ director Vivek Sharma for his next Hindi feature film A GAME CALLED RELATIONSHIP as Music Composers and also doing a movie as composers for cricketer Sandeep Patil’s son, Chirag Patil and Prateek Patil’s Film VILLA.
Nakash Aziz along with Sargam has composed music for the famous television serial ‘Chandragupta Maurya’ and Nakash Aziz has also worked with Mr. A R Rahman in ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Delhi 6’ as a music programmer and Mr. Rahman also gave him an opportunity to sing in his Common Wealth Games song ‘Jiyo Utho Badho”.
Nakash says, “The journey was very long and and full of difficulties, but I am happy that I have achieved this much. But my crave for music and to learn much is still on. The most achieving moment for me was when A R Rahman Sir gave me an opportunity to work with him and with God’s grace I hope to do well and give my best compositions in the industry and like every child I want to make my parents proud.”
Well, we hope the best for Nakash and await his next chart buster.
