Mukesh Khanna first time in a Marathi film ARDHA GANGU ARDHA GONDYA

Mahabharat fame Bhishma Pitamah aka Mukesh Khanna has produced a Marathi film ARDHA GANGU ARDHA GONDYA under his banner Rushiraj Productions with Ved Khanna and Tarun Khanna. This out and out comedy flick is directed by Junior Mehmood.

Popular as Shaktiman the film is Mukesh’s first venture in Marathi Film Industry. He has also acted in the film. He plays a politician Bapusaheb Landge.

On asking why he made a Marathi film Mukesh said, “I am staying in Maharashtra so it is my humble duty to give back Maharashtra. Secondly I am a great fan of legendary actor Dadasaheb Kondake. This film is my tribute to him.”

Talking about the film he says, “Many people come to Mumbai with dreams in the eyes. Few lucky people get the dream fulfilled and few do not. This is a story of Gondya aka Govinda, a young guy with dreams and about his journey, his struggle.”

Director Junior Mehmood has also acted in the film. This may be for the first time happening that producer and director of the film have acted together in their film. Dr. Pramod Nanavade is playing Dadasaheb Kondake.
