Mudasir Zafar’s film NOBLE PEACE won another award at Indian Cine Film Festival 2020. The film has been awarded as the Best Screenplay. Recently the film also won Best Film Jury award at Dadasaheb Phalke Filmm Festival 2020. It is written and directed by Astik Dalai and produced by Alok Rai under the banner of Kala Niketan Entertainment. Mudasir was very optimistic about the film as the film has won some awards previously. He says that, “When your work is appreciated in the form of Awards, it feels special and Indian Cine Film Festival is a well-known festival with Jury members from all around the World.
The Jury includes Mr. Jose Luis (Film Producer Spain), Ms. Marcia Paradiso (Film director Argentina), Mr. Gl Bharadwaj (National award winning director India), Mr. Sasha Yelaun (Film Producer, US), Mr. Gustavo Ramos (Film Director, Puerto Rico), Dr. DC Singh (Film Academician, India).
Mudasir says that when your work is seen and awarded by a Jury like this, it increases your confidence. The film was competing with the films from many countries and winning out of them speaks for the film itself. Mudasir has recently shot a Punjabi Sufi music video Mitti and the release of his film is on the cards. With the extended lockdowns and the current state of the economy, OTT seems to be the next normal for the world of entertainment and NOBLE PEACE might also get a direct release on the OTT platform soon. He says that a direct release on OTT is a good option as of now as theaters around the globe are shut and waiting for them to begin might be tricky for the film. The film also stars Hiten Tejwani, Mayur Mehta and Aarti Sharma.
