Some serials and dramas are working to reach out to the actors, just like movies. If a character played by an artist in a series that reaches the doorsteps every day, is liked by the fans, then that artist is known in the minds of the people by the name of that person. Something similar has happened in the case of veteran actor Madhav Abhyankar. After spending his entire life in acting, the series ‘Ratris Khel Chaale’, which took shape in the land of Konkan, gave immense popularity to Madhav Abhyankar as Anna Naik. The number of his fans has increased tremendously. And he will now come to meet his fans in a different form. Madhav Abhyankar’s eye-catching look in the upcoming Marathi film ‘Gulhar’ will definitely impress the audience.
The film ‘Gulhar’ has been produced under the banner of Ideal Venture launched by Shantaram (Appa) Medage, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde, and Abid Syed. ‘Gulhar’ has been directed by Ramesh Chaudhary, who had earlier directed films like ‘Baabo’. The story of this film is based on an 11-year-old boy from the Dhangar community. The character played by Madhav Abhyankar is pre-eminent in this and he has been given a very good look. Madhav Abhyankar’s appearance will be seen in ‘Gulhar’ with pink feta on the head, white shirt, dhoti, curled stick in hand, bracelet in right hand, uparna on the left shoulder, mustache with necklace, amulet on the neck, shoes on feet and forehead daubed with turmeric. However, the exact role played by Madhav Abhyankar, in this film is still unrevealed.
Along with Madhav Abhyankar, the movie has Vinayak Poddar, Ravi Kale, Bhargavi Chiramule, Suresh Vishwakarma, Kishore Chougule, Rukmini Sutar, Shivani Bavkar, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde, Manjiri Yashwant, Ganesh Kokate, Kapil Kadam, Pushpa Chaudhari, Swapnil Landage, Reshma Phadtare, Sachin Malavade, Devendra Vayal. Mohan Padwal has written the story for ‘Gulhar’ and Sanjay Navgire has written the script and dialogues. Kumar Dongre is the cinematographer and compiler, while Vishal Patil is the choreographer. Sound design by Nikhil Lanjekar and Himanshu Ambekar and background music is by Kedar Divekar. Amar Lashkar is the project head of the upcoming film.
