Life OK launches a nationwide petition drive, ‘Har Bachcha hai khaas’

As children grapple in a bid to outperform one another in today’s competitive world, Life OK, through its upcoming show HINDUSTAN KE HUNARBAAZ turns up the volume on things that really matter. Life OK, launched a unique petition drive called ‘Har bachcha Hain Khaas’, with cool gurus Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre lending their support. The petition is aimed at creating awareness wherein parents pledge to not pressurize their children and nurture their talents as well.

Centered around the core philosophy of ‘Cherish what you what,’ Life OK strongly believes that every child has a special gift hidden in them. And this is reinforced through the show HINDUSTAN KE HUNARBAAZ, a non-competitive reality show that focuses only on showcasing varied talents of children from across India. Through the petition, Life OK takes a stand on the overall progress and well being of a child and hopes to reach out to millions of parents across the county and urge them to sign the petition to relieve kids of all unwanted pressures.

Commenting on this one of a kind petition drive, Ajit Thakur, General Manager – Life OK said,” We at Life Ok have always believed in cherishing what you have and our latest offering HINDUSTAN KE HUNARBAAZ reflects this core philosophy. In a bid to outrun competition, children often feel overtly pressurized and demoralized. Through this nationwide petition drive we want to persuade every parent to take an oath to not let the kid feel pressurized and concentrate on his well being and holistic development.”

Lending her support to the drive is popular actor, mother and cool guru Sonali Bendre. Sonali embodies the channel’s vision, as she extends her support by signing the first petition. She took a vow to never let her child get bogged down due to excessive pressure. She says, “Life Ok has come up with this distinctive initiative to touch base with millions of parents and convince them to participate in the movement. I am a firm believer in not pushing the child beyond the limits and ensuring a zero pressure upbringing. I request all the parents to take notice and come forward and join the movement.”

Cool Guru Terence Lewis feels that excessive competitive spirit within kids often leads to immense disappointment and suppresses their natural instincts. “Life Ok’s step to promote a stress and pressure free upbringing for a child is an important step towards the growth of the nation. I appeal to all parents to contribute to this cause and take a pledge towards a stress free upbringing and encourage non competitive spirit amongst kids.”

It is believed that every child has the potential to be a star and has a unique talent which must be valued and nurtured for us to ensure a well-rounded, self-confident future generation. The responsibility to give it wings lies in the hands of parents, teachers and guardians, because the truth lies in the fact that that ‘Har bachcha hai khaas….’

Parents, teachers and guardians can help the movement by logging onto to pledge their support for this noble cause.
