Every year 8th March is celebrated as International Women’s Day across the world. This year is the culmination of centennial year for International Women’s Day. Lavasa Women’s Drive is a joint initiative of Bombay Times and Lavasa Corporation that will be held on Sunday, 27th February, 2011. It will reach out to women from varied walks of life, bring them together for celebrating the spirit of womanhood and showcase the true drive in them. Instrumental in spreading women cancer awareness, LWD has now become one of the sought after events for women.
In its third year now, LWD will for the first time feature an Official Anthem sung by Shibani Kashyap and produced by Times Music. The anthem embodies everything that women & the Lavsa Women’s Drive represents. It is peppy, inspiring, full of life & yet very feminine at its core.
Times Music is very very excited to be part of this property, doing what it does best – creating content. The LWD Anthem is one of the most interesting projects that we’ve worked on lately and cannot wait for it to be launched. We’re going all out to popularize the anthem with radio spots. The anthem is already available across all mobile operators as ringback tones and ringtones. The CDs will be available in the market from the 19th Of February.
Times Music has always looked to create inspiring content when it comes to supporting causes, (Aman Ki Asha, Visions Of India etc.) With The Lavasa Women’s Drive anthem we hope to spread the Awarenes of Breast Cancer across India & support women empowerment.
