Nihar Gite well known child actor from the movie ‘Ek Villain’ will now be seen in Marathi film KAAY RE RASCALAA. Nihar being notorious himself has played the same character Guddu in the film. GlamGold talked to ‘Natkhat’ Nihar.
Nihar lives in Shirdi with his parents. The 10 year old boy is studying in 5th standard. Nihar was first runner up in Zee TV’s show ‘India’s Best Dramebaz’ first season. He has also hosted several awards shows. Nihar’s parents are very much serious about his education so they are very choosy about the projects. So they chose KAAY RE RASCALAA after Ek Villain in which Nihar played Riteish Deshmukh’s son.
Nihar says, “During the shoot of Ek Villain I did full dhamaal with Riteiteshji. We use to crack jokes. He used to call me ‘Barkya’. We had lots of fun.”
Talking about KAAY RE RASCALAA Nihar says, “I gave audition for this film and got was selected. It was also fun working in this film. I play the notorious character. He is same as me in real life so I relate to my character very much. I am very happy that Mrs. Madhu Chopraji appreciated my work.”
Nihar has got genes of art from his parents. His father is art teacher and mother is a graduate in fine arts. So there was no wonder Nihar would be a talented and smart boy.
Nihar says, “There is one scene with Nikhil Ratnaparkhiji. He was having juice and I rush towards him making noise like a bike zooozooo…we collapsed with each other while I was calling him Baba (Dad). That scene is so funny that I cannot forget it ever. It was also fun working with Gaurav Ghatnekarji as we were having fun during the shoot.”
Nihar is very happy to work in KAAY RE RASCALAA as it is film in his mother tounge. “Now in school my friends are very curious about my films and keep on asking when my next film is releasing. I am thankful to my teachers as they are very supporting me.”
