Grand Premiere of Chalk N Duster On Television, WATCH IT ON MINIPLEX

Miniplex – a movie premiere service available on Airtel Digital TV,  Tata Sky and Dish TV is set to premiere the critically acclaimed film – Chalk N Duster, this Friday, 23rd December’16. The film not only won millions of hearts after its theatrical release, but was also declared tax free in the North Indian belt because of its strong and relevant social message regarding the current education system in India. However the movie never got aired on television since its release. With this, Miniplex continues to maintain its leadership position in being a platform for TV audiences to connect with quality movies which are missing from Broadcast TV.

2Chalk n Duster highlights the issues in Indian private education system. Starring Juhi Chawla, Shabana Azmi, Zarina Wahab, Girish Karnad and Divya Dutta, the film talks about teachers’ and students’ communication. The story revolves around an emotional journey of two teachers Vidya, played by Shabana Azmi and Jyoti, played by Juhi Chawla, serving at a Mumbai – based High School. Their passion and love for teaching, bonds them in a special relationship with their students. Their gratification is good grades, moral values they strive to impart to students. However, in an evil turn of events, a wicked lady, Kamini Gupta (Divya Dutta) gets appointed as the School Principal, thus changing the fate of the administration and the drama unfolds.
