Century old jeweller Waman Hari Pethe (WHP), which have evolved into the biggest modern day fusion jewellery retail format in Maharashtra & Goa,have organised a scintillating fashion show on March 6, 2011 to showcase the new NAVINYA collection with Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar as show stopper! She looked beautiful as ever and wore a black and biege gown. Enchanting model Aanchal Kumar opened the show followed by svelte models like Alicia Raut, Amruta Patki, Maushmi Badra, Dimple Patel, wearing alluring Aseef Merchant and Sajida Virji designer outfits walked the ramp wearing the novel NAVINYA Collections fusion jewellery concept, which blends traditional Maharashtrian motifs with contemporary designs appealing to women of all generations. The event also witnessed a fusion dance performance by ace dancer Sandip Soparrkar.
The evening was a very classy affair with purple décor. Aditya Pethe was promptly there to be with his guests and he was accompanied by his beautiful wife Sonali Pethe. The guests for the show were also patrons of Waman Hare Pethe jewellers. Taufeeq Quereshi was at the show and enjoyed the evening. Archana Kochhar walked in with her daughter and she had designed Urmila”s outfit for the evening. Rohit Verma and Rashmi Bagga came in together. Amy Billimoria also looked cool in her white outfit. She was accompanied with husband Farzad.
There was a breath taking performance by Sandip Soparrkar and Jesse Randhawa which was highly appreciated by all. The performance had a theme of jewellery artisticly incorporated. Shaikir Shaikh had choreographed the show.
Urmila Matondkar wore Archana Kochhar’s outfit and looked preety with real NAVINYA collection jewellery. On the occasion Urmila said she loved the designs and intended to pick up jewellery whenever she would get time next.
Guest in attendance were Aditya Rajput Singh, Rakesh Paul, Shifanjali Shekhar, Vishal Bhonsle, Avinash Wadhawan, Alex, Kiran Shantaram, Taufeeq Quereshi and many more.
