Young and handsome guy Vinod Shinde is donning the hat of executive producer with upcoming Marathi film AART. Born and brought up in Aambivali near Thane-Kalyan, Vinod has done Designing and Animation course. He has shot almost 50 albums out of which few he directed.
The journey of Vinod started with Marathi film ‘Angthe Bahadur’ where he did still photography. He also acted in the film. “At the time of shooting one artist could not come. The director Sanjay Gawali asked me to play his character and I did it,” says Vinod.
Telling about his further journey the young turk says, “In 2011 I did ‘Tatya Vinchu Lage Raho’ as photographer, actor, associate director and also managed production. Then ‘Power’ as Chief assistant director, ‘Bhakar’ as publicity designer, ‘Khairlanji chya Mathyavar’ as associate director and ‘Waghi’ as executive producer.”
Vinod has done an orchestra show ‘Rang Maharashtracha’. He has worked with famous Lokshahir Viththal Umap for three years. His audio-video show ‘Navrang Maharashtracha’ got him appreciation and applauds. He is festival director of Kalyan International Film Festival.
About AART he says, “I was knowing director Rajendra Saali. He wanted to do publicity marketing of the film. He offered me join the team and I was on board. AART has received Best Social Film Award in KIFF. The film deals with the serious issue of Jaat Panchayat. The cast system is still in practice in many parts of Maharashtra as well as India. There are many women suffered by the system and we read in newspapers about this. It is my humble appeal to audience to go and watch this thought provoking film. AART is releasing on 20th May, 2016.”
